Made with love

Wine is mostly made in the vineyard. That’s why it is necessary to produce healthy grapes, to harvest it at the perfect point of ripeness, to make rites for an ideal season. The lands from which our grapes come from are magical, they are rich in volcanic minerals, they are hit by sea winds, surrounded and protected by mountains. It takes time for our grapes to become perfectly ripen, time, sun, and patience. And the sight of whom knows the grapes by heart.

A Revolution

Twenty years ago, “Dedicato a Marianna” was a revolutionary concept. In a world like the wine’s one, populated by wealthy families owning ancient wineries, and made almost exclusively by men, Marianna born from the land, from the children of the farmers who worked the land for those wealthy families, from the ones who built their wine knowledge through the work in the fields, getting their hands dirty. A work that was made also by women, strong and intense like the wine, women to whom this brand is dedicated. Marianna, a name that hides the mystery and the power of passion, land and family. A name that is an embrace to all the women in the world.

The winery

The winery has been made with extreme attention to the cultivation and processing part of the products, being that place in which tradition meets technological innovation, in order to produce the best wine possible with respect for the land and its ancient history. Once in the winery, in fact, wine no longer needs magic: technology and human wisdom are necessary.

Irpinia. 3000 years of history.

A piece of Appennini mountains that climbs over hills, valleys, lowlands and peaks, this is Irpinia. Surrounded by the others Campania’s provinces of Napoli, Caserta, Benevento e Salerno, it arrives to the borderlands with Puglia and Basilicata. Irpinia is the hidden heart of the Campania region. That part of the province which is protected by the mountains Picentini, Partenio and Taburno is the land of wine, one of the most ancient vineyard surfaces in Italy, which preserves in its roots the history of millennial vines.
